about us

trurl.us is a small arts and technology collective. We explore the applications of technology in support of the pursuit of making art across multiple disciplines. After seven (7!) years of internet hiatus, focusing on our families and our gardens we have rebuilt our web presence to showcase some of our work. We work with words, images, sounds and moving pictures to explore our relationships with natural, inner, and interpersonal landscapes.

We live and work on an island in the south Salish Sea and grow fruit, vegetables, and flowers in our gardens and orchards. We have traveled together thhroughout North America, from Hawaiian volcanoes to Canadian ski lodges to Villas Magicas in the Sierra Madres. Traveling to and staying in these remote parts of the world has offered us insights into thee roles art and technology across various cultures.
